Home :: Food Connections

Food Connections is a collaborative network of local organizations, initiatives, leaders and residents dedicated to the creation of a strong local food system. Founding members include The Food Project – North Shore, The Open Door / Cape Ann Food Pantry, the Cape Ann Farmer’s Market, the Green Thumbs Youth Project, and Sustainable Cape Ann. The network is coordinated by Sustainable Cape Ann, led by a council of member organizations, and sponsored by local individuals and businesses.

Our Mission

To create a local food system that meets our community’s needs for healthy and affordable food, and supports our farmers and fishermen, while protecting our natural capital as well as the inheritance of future generations.
